Esports industry pins hopes on Asian Games for player growth in India

Esports players touched 10 lakh mark in 2022 from 6 lakh in 2021. The player count is expected to reach 25 lakh this year, according to a FICCI-EY 2023 report. Number of Esports teams are estimated to grow from 1.1 lakh last year to 1.25 lakh in 2023.
